CardQR vs QR TIGER: 2026 comparison (price, codes and scans)
QR TIGER is a QR code generator where business cards are one of its code types; CardQR is a digital business card platform. We compare pricing, free plan limits, scan caps and included users based on data published by each service.
The difference between CardQR and QR TIGER is not about price, it's about category: QR TIGER is a QR code generator where the business card (vCard) is just one of its code types, and CardQR is a digital business card platform. This changes how each one charges: QR TIGER bills by number of dynamic codes and users, CardQR by account with unlimited cards. If you need a card for yourself or your team, that difference determines your bill and your ceiling. This comparison collects data published by QR TIGER on August 21, 2026 and CardQR data, which comes from the product itself.

QR TIGER prices are in dollars and CardQR prices are in euros, so direct comparison depends on the exchange rate. QR TIGER states in its help center that Advanced and Premium are billed annually, but does not publish the annual amount, so only the monthly price that appears on its pricing page is shown here.
What you can do without paying
This is where they differ most. QR TIGER's free plan gives 3 dynamic codes with a limit of 500 scans each; once that limit is exceeded, the code stops working until you sign up for a paid plan. At a two-day trade show, 500 scans is a number you can reach.
CardQR's free plan does not limit the number of cards or scans, and does not expire. It includes a unique URL for each card, downloadable QR, NFC chip activation, Tap-to-Connect contact exchange, email signature generator, OCR paper card scanner with 3 scans per month, AI content generator with 3 uses per month, 6 templates and vCard contact download. No ads.
What paying adds in CardQR
Pro — €2.99/month or €29.90/year
Contact capture form on public card with CSV export, widgets (link buttons, bookings with Calendly or Cal.com, video, downloadable PDF), advanced analytics with cities, devices and UTM parameters, 8-character security code to make the card private, event mode, premium templates, block designer and Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes. 50 AI uses per month.
Enterprise — €12.99/month or €129.90/year
Everything in Pro plus corporate profiles that propagate to team cards, team dashboard with up to 10 seats, custom domains, webhooks and CRM, API access and bulk CSV import. 200 AI uses per month. The price is per account, not per user.
Differences that don't show up in a pricing table
The billing unit
QR TIGER counts codes: each person's card takes up one of the 12, 200 or 600 in the plan. CardQR counts accounts: cards are unlimited in all plans, including the free one. For a single person the difference is small; for a team that refreshes profiles, it decides the bill.
The number of users
QR TIGER's Regular, Advanced and Premium plans support one or two users. Sharing access among a team requires upgrading plans or sharing credentials. CardQR's Enterprise plan includes 10 seats with roles for €12.99/month.
The scan cap
The 500-scan limit on QR TIGER's free plan applies per code. Paid plans publish unlimited scans from Regular onwards. CardQR does not limit scans on any plan.
The three-year count
With prices published on August 21, 2026 and paying annually where the annual amount is published: CardQR Pro is €29.90 per year, €89.70 over three years. QR TIGER's Regular plan at $7 USD per month is $252 USD in the same period, not counting that it goes up to $16 USD if advanced analytics are needed. QR TIGER does not publish the annual amount for Advanced or Premium, so that calculation is monthly and could drop with their annual discount.
Who each one makes sense for
- QR TIGER if you need QR codes of many types —menus, PDFs, video, wifi, campaigns— and the business card is just one more. It's a complete QR generator and that's where it shines.
- CardQR if you need the card: a person or a team with profiles that update, contact capture, per-card analytics and NFC, without the price depending on how many codes you generate.
Frequently asked questions
Can I try CardQR without a credit card?
Yes. The free plan doesn't ask for a payment method and doesn't expire, and already includes unlimited cards and QR with no scan limit.
What happens to my cards if I stop paying for Pro?
The account reverts to the free plan: cards remain active at their URLs and paid features are deactivated until you reactivate your subscription. Nothing gets deleted.
Can I migrate from QR TIGER?
There's no automatic import. With Enterprise you can bulk load cards via CSV; for a single one, remaking it takes a couple of minutes with the AI generator. The printed QR pointing to QR TIGER will keep pointing there: if the code is dynamic, you can change its destination to your CardQR URL from the QR TIGER dashboard while you maintain its plan.
Is the data in this comparison up to date?
Prices and plans for both services change. QR TIGER's come from its pricing page and help center, consulted on August 21, 2026, and are in dollars; CardQR's come from the product itself. Always check each service's pricing page before signing up.
